“The Young Philosophers” Project – Do not fear the Light!

“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”  These are the simple words of wisdom Plato left for us to contemplate on over two millennia ago. The light is frightening to some because they think it is demanding to meet the same elevated essence it confronts. The light would burn the one not ready to merge with its flawless intangible body. Men should be comfortable in the presence of the light, for it is salvation and peace, the one place where we could be embraced by the comfort of achieved elated tranquility.autumn-2183489
